Jack has photographed architecture in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York area since moving here in the late 1980’s. His worked during this time photographing art and architecture and special projects, such as a documentary series of photographs of Eastern State Penitentiary. This was a study of the architecture of Eastern State Penitentiary was in collaboration with Barry Halkin, a architectural photographer, for the office of Kerrian, Timberlake and Harris, for a feasibility study on how to best preserve the ancient and first of its kind, modern prison structure from the 19th century. Over the past 10 years, Jack has photographed architecture for corporate clients and has increasingly been providing architectural photography for architects, which is a passion. Having graduated from Cranbrook Academy of Art, in the surroundings of Eliel Saarinen architecture, he was fascinated by the environment that Saarinen had created, Jack thrived living and studying in this master piece.
